NATIONAL MALL TURF PANELS RECONSTRUCTION - WASHINGTON, DC (USA)

Soil consultant to the design team for the reconstruction of the turf panels on the National Mall from 3rd Street to 14th Street

The national mall is the most intensively used public open space in the United States' National Park system and includes numerous festival events and thousands of public gatherings each year.The turf is literally worn out from over use. The project includes developing use guidelines to reduce future damage, grading, installing granite curbs, turf soil, irrigation and drainage.
